Grand Opening Event Fit for a Cupcake! by Cupcake Jenna 03/16/11
Hey all you Healdsburg mamas and papas! As you have probably already heard, we have opened our second location in Healdsburg, at 107 Plaza Street, right on the square. We are so excited about becoming part of this happenin' town. And what better way to show our enthusiasm than having the party of all parties to celebrate?!
If you feel you need more of a reason than trendy baby and kids clothes and the best gifts around, I'll give you five:
1) At 11 am sharp, we will be hosting a James K concert right in the store. Kids love James K's friendly and upbeat tunes. If you missed his concert at our Santa Rosa store a few years ago, make sure not to miss this. As we gather in a circle and sing-along to the hoppin' beats, we hope you join in the corus.
2) Throughout the day, we will have complimentary cupcakes from Sift Cupcake & Desert Bar. If you've been hiding under a rock and haven't experienced these bad boys, you must come for a sample. They are to die for! As you may recall, Sift was on "Cupcake Wars" on the Food Network a few months ago and won. You better hurry though, because I intend on eating as many as possible!
3) We will be giving away prizes galore all day long! I can't give you the details (the surprise is part of the allure), but come on down for some Cupcake must-haves.
4) From 2-4 pm, there will be complimentary face painting and balloon animal making by Smile Awhile Faces. Come get a cupcake design on your cheek or maybe a princess crown on your forehead, and leave with a green balloon doggie!
5) Kids love balloons maybe as much as we do, so there will be oodles of regular, non-dog-shaped, balloons to play with and take with you as a party favor.
