New Store, New Logo, New Signs, oh my! by Cupcake Jenny 05/12/11
Our second children's and maternity store in Healdsburg has been open for almost nine weeks now, so you might wonder what took us so long to get our signage installed. Well, let me tell you. Something strange happens when you move into a brand spankin' new space... you suddenly want everything to be new. Suddenly everything that was perfectly fine before, isn't perfect anymore. In fact, it's so imperfect that you think you can't live another day with it. Well that's what happened when we opened our beautiful new store in Healdsburg. I needed to have the signs made and installed, but I I had this crazy urge to change our logo. Not completely, but just a little freshen up. Well that lead to meetings with graphic designers, decisions about design direction, color change, tagline change... basically a whole mess of changes and edits, but in the end, our beautiful new logo emerged! What do you think?
Of course all of that logo revision took some time and then you can only imagine how much back and forth I did with my new best friends at Healdsburg Signs (luckily for me, they're a patient bunch) before finally settling on sign designs, but thank goodness, because look at how great they came out!  Wait for it, wait for it.... voila! 
And my favorite sign of all... by the way, did you know this was called a blade sign? I didn't either!
And to round out our new signage purchase, we even now have an address! So rather than telling you we're located on the plaza next to Bistro Ralph (as much of a coo as that is), we can officially say we're at 107 Plaza Street and you'll actually be able to find a 107!
