Persnickety - A Perfect Name for this Generous Line by Cupcake Jenna 02/17/11
Persnickety Clothing is a new line to Cupcake and we couldn't be happier with it. Their clothes are fun, colorful, and ultra girly with bold prints and plenty of ruffles. They are perfect for an Alice in Wonderland-esque tea party or a creative photo shoot. Needless to say, Persnickety will fit right in with us here at Cupcake.
But even better, they're a company committed to giving back. For every dress they sell, they donate one to a needy child somewhere in the world. What a great reason to shop with them, right? This way, you can leave the store with a phenomenally cute dress and know that somewhere out there, one little girl gets that warm, exciting feeling too. Throughout the history of the company, they have continued to partner with similar do-gooders to give back more and more.
They also pride themselves on creating modest and age-appropriate designs for little girls to encourage the innocence of childhood and self-respect. They feel, as I do, that the way young girls dress is an important part of how they develop. Girls will have plenty of opportunity to wear bikinis and short skirts later in life, but why not let little girls be little girls and promote adventure and creativity instead? Their "fancy little frocks" do just that, and more power to them!
