President and founder, DeNai Jones, of Petunia Pickle Bottom describes herself as an innately creative being and a glue-glitter-and-construction-paper kind of kid who later studied the fine arts in college. Ms. Jones says that her dad can be credited with the silly and sentimental nickname he gave her as a child. Apparently, the name was inspired by a special father-daughter playtime when dad was entertaining her with light-hearted, nonsensical singing and delightful harmonica playing. Quite lyrical and not likely to be forgotten anytime soon, the name has stuck with customers - she reports that even mail sometimes arrives to the office addressed to the fictional Mrs. Petunia P. Bottom!
