Piggies & Paws Event at Cupcake November 6th! by Cupcake Jenny  When Piggies and Paws owner/creator, Jennifer Thomas had her first baby, she captured his ever growing moment by stamping his hands and feet on everything she could find. With each print taking a slightly different formation, one because he was growing and two because naturally no two hand-stamped prints turned out the same, she began seeing different shapes and objects in them, kind of like when you stare up at a sky full of billowy white clouds. She began embellishing the prints, framing them and hanging them on her wall. Like every brilliant, creative idea, her friends took notice and wanted their own tots prints turned into their very own works of art as well. And viola! Piggies and Paws was born! When I came across Piggies & Paws, I absolutely loved the idea as well! Especially since having a baby of my own and watching him grow so quickly before my very eyes, I recognized the preciousness of capturing the image of his little hands and feet before they grow another centimeter. And being a lover of creativity, this is by far the most creative way I've seen of doing it. .jpg) We're so excited to be able to have a Piggies & Paws event at our store and invite all of our favorite customers to share in the creativity... especially with holiday gift buying just around the corner! I, personally, have a couple of grandmothers that would swoon over an art piece created from Mr. Cupcake's little piggies or paws... much more than a sweater or... what did we give the moms last year? There are more than 150 designs to choose from, the cost is $30-$35 per print and a couple of dollars more if you want it mounted. You can't go wrong!
