A Star is Born

A Star is Born

It's always difficult to decide where to spend marketing dollars and even more difficult to decide what to feature. I like Santa Rosa Magazine as a reader, consumer and citizen of Santa Rosa- the glossy filled pages of who's who and what's what in SR always peek my curiosity, so I take my chances hoping that our customers read it as well. In trying to decide what to feature, I also have to decide whether or not to use a local model (aka one of our customers).

For this ad, we decided to shoot a few of our new Fall arrivals from Mimi & Maggie, Joe's Jeans, Luna Luna and Jean Bourget and were hoping that one of our customers, Abigail, would want to be our model. She has the sweetest face and an even sweeter disposition and lucky for us, she thought the idea of being a model for a day sounded like fun. Apparently on the morning of our photo shoot, she was so excited she could barely eat her breakfast! But that didn't stop her- she smiled and danced and twirled and showed off her wardrobe like a pro!

Abigail's favorite color is pink, so her first wardrobe choice was a dress and leggings by Mimi & Maggie, a pink crocheted hat by local designer Anya Larre and pink shoes from the Eleven collection by See Kai Run.

Our first head to toe wardrobe and hairstyle change- the new Fall arrival from Tea Collection. They do a version of this collection each season and I have to say, this is one of my favorites!

The last complete wardrobe change was to a Luna Luna tee and skirted legging. Even though it was 85' out- our model happily donned the Fall outfit, including the Jean Bourget knitted scarf. Talent like this is so hard to find!

I was so happy with the results of our shoot and thoroughly enjoyed our day spent together. Look out world, Abigail is definitely a young star in the making!
